ANEW completes ground floor co-working space at 103 Colmore Row

Updated: Sep 26, 2024

Located on the site of the former 1970’s NatWest Tower, in the centre of Birmingham’s business district, 103 Colmore Row is a stunning new landmark for the city. The 26 storey, BREEAM excellent building stands proud as Birmingham's tallest office development.

Anew worked alongside Doone Silver Kerr and Sterling Property Ventures to specify and procure the ground floor furniture, coffee bar and exhibition space to showcase John Pickering's public art.

The sculpture, entitled ‘Equinox’, is based on Pickering’s work using geometry and mathematical science, specifically the Inversion Principle. It is suspended nine metres above the ground in the building’s four-storey colonnade.

We have since been back to finish the space as the architect intended, including high back armchairs with plugs for laptop and phone charging, casual meeting settings with shelving dividers for privacy.

We hope that the tenants can enjoy as a relaxed meet and greet, touch down working and a place for contemplation throughout the day.

“ We employed Anew Consulting to source the reception furniture at our landmark development, 103 Colmore Row. Kerry instantly understood our vision for this critical space and delivered an outstanding result. She has created the perfect blend of modern reception furniture with a stylish, yet practical, business lounge area for our Tenants and visitors to use. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Kerry exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier. We would happily recommend Anew to anyone requiring a first class furniture consultant”.
